Sausage Egg & Cream Cheese Hashbrown Casserole

Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage
  • 1 (30 oz) package frozen hashbrowns
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 6 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook and crumble the sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain grease.
  3. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. Spread frozen hashbrowns evenly across the bottom.
  4. In a bowl, whisk cream cheese, eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  5. Stir in the cooked sausage and half of the shredded cheese.
  6. Pour the mixture over the hashbrowns and spread evenly. Top with remaining cheese.
  7. Bake for 35–40 minutes until set and bubbly.
  8. Let cool for 5–10 minutes, then slice and serve.
